Longtime NHLer Joe Thornton's career has been up in the air all summer long.
After the Florida Panthers notified the veteran that they wouldn't be bringing him back, rumours circulated that his career may be over. However, recent reports have been that Thornton may want to come back for one more season.
As of now, he has yet to officially sign a contract, but the 43-year-old appears closer to a contract with one of his former teams.
Before training camps start next week, ''Jumbo Joe'' has been spotted skating with the San Jose Sharks. While it's nothing out of the ordinary, it is, however, surprising that Thornton was wearing the Sharks' brand new teal helmet. Something that is usually reserved for members of the team.
