John Tortorella is one of, if not the most controversial coaches to work behind an NHL bench.
Especially when it comes to interactions with the media.
Saturday night was no exception when Torts and the Philadelphia Flyers visited the Vancouver Canucks for a Hockey Night in Canada showdown.
Of course, Tortorella was head coach for the Canucks during the 2013-14 season, finishing with a 36-35-11 and missing the postseason. Although he shared fond memories of his time with the team, city and the fans, he did not hold back his feelings towards the Vancouver media:
''I loved it here, the fans were fantastic, as far as I'm concerned you guys in the media are IDIOTS.''
The Boston native has never changed who he is and it's refreshing to see, in all honesty. Never change, Torts!
