The Boston Bruins have had a great start to the 2022-23 season, going 6-1-0 through its first seven games, massively exceeding expectations early on without star players Charlie McAvoy and Brad Marchand.
However, both McAvoy and Marchand have been participating in full team practices for a little while now, and an update from Wednesday morning's skate could potentially bring massive news for Bruins fans.
The Bruins PR shared this to Twitter recently:
#NHLBruins practice lines:
Marchand - Bergeron - DeBrusk
Hall - Krejci - Pastrnak
Zacha - Coyle - Smith
Foligno - Nosek - Greer
Frederic - Studnicka

Swayman
Marchand is officially skating on the top line with Patrice Bergeron and Jake Debrusk for the first time since last season. The only time he had been skating there was when Bergeron took the option not to participate in practice.
Obviously, this doesn't mean anything, but Steve Conroy of The Boston Herald also shared some interesting news on the matter:
Must read on Bruins Insider
Try not to read into this too much, but typically when injured players lead the stretch at practice, it means they're returning to the lineup; it's just a hockey thing. Marchand was also taking turns on the number one powerplay unit:
It will be interesting to hear head coach Jim Montgomery's post-practice press conference.
