In recent years, the NHL has become somewhat of a young man's game, with many of today's superstars in their mid to low twenties or even younger.
And apparently coaches across the league have had to adapt to the fact of having several young players on their roster. Including Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery, who at his media availability on Tuesday, gave the perfect take on how to communicate with those young players.
''That group, it's what they're used to. They reply to text messages. They don't phone you back. They don't call you back. Kind of like a lot of girls when I was dating.''
As you can see, Montgomery took the opportunity to not just make a point but also to make light of the situation with a joke.
