The Boston Bruins have regrettably traded Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators during the off-season.

The move didn't make many of us happy, as they broke up the epic 1A-1B combination, a dynamic duo.

As Ullmark wanted to be #1 elsewhere, Don Sweeney would accommodate the request and trade him to Ottawa for Joonas Korpisalo, Mark Kastelic, and the 2024 1st round pick(Dean Letourneau).

While he'll never put on the Black and Gold again, he hasn't forgotten his time here.

His new helmet, has a quirky little tribute to the Bruins, as a certain part of the mask has two bears on it.

They represent his children born in 2018 and 20202, Harry and Lily.

Ullmark will always be loved here in Boston and has proven himself to be a great goalie winning the Vezina Trophy in 2022-2023, and splitting the William Jennings Trophy with Jeremy Swayman.

The Senators goalie has one more year left on his contract, as it expires in 2025-2026, and an extension hasn't been tabled yet.

In 2023-2024 his record was 22-10-7, with a 2.55 GAA, and an .915 save percentage.
