Brad Marchand has turned into one of the most clutch players in Bruins history.
And he has the stats to prove it. The left winger is climbing up the list for most overtime goals in NHL history.
Marchand is not only the Bruins franchise leader in all-time OT goals, but thanks to his beauty against the Habs last night he's now tied for fourth all-time in league history!
That's right. Marchand's second of the game last night was the 17th goal that he's scored in the extra frame during his career. That places him only behind Alex Ovechkin (24), Jaromir Jagr (19) and Sidney Crosby (18) on the all-time list.
Boston's first-liner is tied with former NHLer Ilya Kovalchuk for fourth all-time with his 17.
As you can see from the stats, Marchand's next few goals in the extra stanza could have him climbing up the charts some more!
