One thing we know, is it won't be for the Calgary Flames, and most likely not anywhere in Canada (unless it's in Ottawa with his brother Brady Tkachuk?).
Before everything took a downward spiral between the Flames and Tkachuk, the 25-year-old reportedly turned down a massive extension offer from the club.
After losing Johnny Gaudreau as well, Calgary will be the first team in NHL history to have two 100-plus point players leave after such seasons. Both superstars rejected $10-plus million offers from the Flames in the last couple of weeks.
