Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy decided to reunite "The Perfection Line" to spark his lineup in game three against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The line of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak combined for two goals and four assists in the 4-2 in TD Garden on Friday night. The Bruins' top-line kept the good times rolling with the 1-1 tying goal late in the first period against the Hurricanes this afternoon.

Watch it here:

Off an offensive zone faceoff win, Pastrnak chased the puck down behind the net and made a nice attempt to reverse the puck to the short side of the net. Bergeron, in turn, made a quick play to tuck the puck between Hurricanes' goalie Antti Raanta's five-hole for the goal. Marchand got the secondary assist on the goal as well.

One for the history books...

The goal was the captain's 124th career playoff point which ties him with former teammate David Krejci for second place all-time on the Bruins' playoff points leaderboard. Bergeron is still 37 points behind Ray Bourque for first all-time.

The goal was Bergeron's third of the 2022 playoffs and 49th of his postseason career. He is now just six goals back of Cam Neely for most playoff goals scored on the franchise's all-time leaderboard.

Brad Marchand also tied Bobby Orr for sixth all-time with his 66th career playoff assist on the play.
