The Boston Bruins lost defenseman Hampus Lindholm to an upper-body injury after taking a massive hit from Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov.
Some good news came out Sunday morning about the Bruins' top-two defenseman, who was forced out of game two and did not dress for game three. Head coach Bruce Cassidy announced that Lindholm skated Sunday morning and that game five back in Raleigh is a possibility for the defenseman.
This is huge news as it was assumed that Hampus Lindholm's injury was to his head, which could have resulted in a more prolonged absence than what might be true. If it's not a concussion, Lindholm and the Bruins could be dodging a huge bullet.
Game five will be Tuesday night back at PNC Arena in Raleigh.
