During the Boston Bruins and the Carolina Hurricanes' game three at TD Garden, a penalty box attendee was injured after a Bruins' goal.

After the goal-ahead goal, a rowdy Boston crowd was banging on the glass to celebrate, and it shook a pane of glass loose that fell on the elderly NHL official working the penalty box.

Watch the video again here:

The man's name is Joe Foley, and he's an off-ice official for the National Hockey League as a penalty box attendee. After the incident, trainers were brought over to attend to Foley, who would eventually have to be stretchered off the ice in a scary scene.

Steve Convoy of the Boston Herald reported some good news on Saturday regarding Joe Foley:

"Good news. According to NHL, off-ice official Joe Foley was released from MGH shortly after being examined last night. It's hoped he'll be at his post later this series."

It's great news to hear Joe was released and seems to be okay. It's fantastic that he is expected to be back to work in the Bruins and Hurricanes series soon!
