PuckLuck.com is a website that helps betters make it easier to wager on NHL games with the use of analytics. They recently released a ranking of the top ten NHL players at driving play for their respective teams.

They started with number one, which you may like to see at the top:

"1. Patrice Bergeron, 99th percentile.
Bergeron is simply coming off a monster season defensively, while continuing to push the offence forward. Considering his age, the impact he's had is very impressive."

The rest of the top ten plays out as such:

2. Mason Marchment of the Florida Panthers
3. Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers
4. Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins
5. Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs
6. Jason Robertson of the Dallas Stars
7. Jesse Puljujarvi of the Edmonton Oilers
8. Jesper Bratt of the New Jersey Devils
9. William Carrier of the Vegas Golden Knights
10. Alex Edler of the Los Angeles Kings

PuckLuck explained their ranking as such:

'" 'Play-driving' can be a loose term, so just to clarify we have it defined as someone who creates quality offense for his team while effectively limiting chances defensively. In other words, driving play up the ice."
