Nashville Predators defenseman Mark Borowiecki was stretchered off the ice after a collision behind the net last night with Philadelphia Flyers forward Morgan Frost.
Borowiecki was immediately transported to a local hospital, and the Predators provided an update today.
Although it sounds like he may be ok, he will not be returning to the ice any time soon.
Borowiecki has appeared in 457 NHL games in his career and has recorded 56 points.
