NHL insider shares the latest on David Pastrnak contract talks

Another day, and another insider with the latest on contract negotiations between David Pastrnak and the Boston Bruins.
It's sounding more and more likely that a deal will get done between the two teams and that Pasta doesn't mind if his party and Bruins management talk during the season if needed.
However, as NHL insider Darren Dreger has recently reported, Pastrnak would rather have a deal done before training camp is done. As per Dreger on the latest episode of TSN's Insider Trading:
''Both sides are assessing the market right now.''
''I can tell you that contract discussions have heated up since camp has opened. Relatively quiet over the course of the summer. Not unusual. There were some preliminary discussions at the draft. Pastrnak understands, and he's clearly hopeful that something will get done sooner than later, but the Bruins continue to do their due diligence.''
