Fenway Park is preparing to host the NHL's Winter Classic in just a few weeks!
The Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins will take it outside at the home of the Red Sox on January 2nd, 2023. It will be the second time the Bruins play at Fenway after they first hosted the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010.
Earlier today, NHL Public Relations shared its first rendering of the setup inside the ballpark, with a few changes from the last edition. (photo below)
This time, the ice surface will be parallel with the ''Green Monster'' in left field, while it faced the home plate last time.
