Panthers Spencer Knight makes early bid for Save of the Year

It appears as though Spencer Knight is making his case that he's well worth that brand new three-year, $13.5 million contract after just 37 career games in the NHL.
Earlier today, the Panthers were on the road against the Buffalo Sabres. With his team leading 3-2 early in the second period, Knight made an early bid for Save of the Year with a sliding glove stop:
It was so close that the play was reviewed by the referees for a while to make sure his glove wasn't over the line after it was deemed ''no goal''; what a save!
