How has the NHL not renamed the Selke after Patrice Bergeron yet!?
If any player is worthy of the trophy's namesake, it's the Bruins captain. Who after winning his record setting fifth Selke last season, is well on his way for another.
According to Bruins Stats on Twitter, Bergeron's defensive stats are absolutely insane to start the 2022-23 season:
'Patrice Bergeron has played 472 minutes of 5v5 this season and the opponents have scored 9 goals, 1.15 per 60 minutes.''
On top of that, the 37-year-old also has 15 goals and 18 assists through 40 games.
