Two players claimed off waivers Wednesday

On Tuesday, two more NHL teams were forced to place prospects on waivers with the hope that they would clear.
However, that wasn't the case, as both the Buffalo Sabres and Vegas Golden Knights had players claimed today.
As per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman:
The New York Rangers claimed forward Jake Leschyshyn from Vegas, while the Florida Panthers claimed defenseman Casey Fitzgerald.
