Scary scene for the OHL Wednesday night, as an NHL prospect was stretchered off the ice after a disturbing injury.
During a game between the Ottawa 67s and the Kingston Frontenacs, Montreal Canadiens prospect Vinzenz Rohrer appears to land on his head and neck after a big hit.
The 67s released a statement after the game:
Vinzenz Rohrer is awake and talking, and has movement in all of his extremities.
He has been taken to hospital for further evaluation.
