Patrice Bergeron continues to climb up the Boston Bruins franchise leaderboards.
Late in the first period against the Ottawa Senators, Bergeron scored the 403rd goal of his career to pass Rick Middleton for third place all-time in goals scored for the Boston Bruins.
The play started on a nifty lob pass by Jake Debrusk to David Pastrnak, who almost finished with a beautiful wrap-around goal. DeBrusk stayed with the play who found Pastrnak again, this time for a one-timer, and Bergeron potted the rebound.
Watch it here:
It looks very similar to Bergeron's first career goal, which just so happened to be exactly 19 years ago today!
