Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron has been in the league for a long time now. Players old and new have a ton of respect for the veteran for the career he's had and for being probably the best two-way player the NHL has ever seen.

In an article by The Athletic's Mark Lazerus, he interviewed 20 of today's stars about skills that maybe go unnoticed by fans of the game.

2021 Norris Trophy winner Adam Fox of the New York Rangers had some high praise for the Bruins captain.

Fox's quote as per Lazerus:

''If you think you're one step ahead, you're not. He's on the same thing. You think a passing lane's open; it's not. Right away. Obviously, he's had a Hall of Fame career and has gotten recognition, but I think he's a guy that definitely does a lot of those subtle things that come up big in the end.''

The 37-year-old isn't showing any signs of slowing down either, as he's registered 8 goals and 7 assists through 16 games, and sits three away from 1000 in his career.
