The Taylor Hall trade keeps looking better for the Boston Bruins

On April 12th, 2021, the Boston Bruins acquired Taylor Hall (50% retained), along with Curtis Lazar, from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Anders Bjork and a second-round pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Looking at the trade now, it was an absolute steal by the Bruins:

Hall has appeared in 113 games with Boston and has registered 33 goals and 52 assists for 85 points. He also signed a four-year, $24 million extension on July 23rd, 2021.

Lazar (signed with the Vancouver Canucks as UFA) appeared in 87 games with the Bruins and collected 10 goals and 10. He has one goal with the Canucks this season.

Bjork skated in 73 games for the Sabres and recorded 8 goals and 6 assists. He's currently with the Rochester Americans of the AHL where he has 3 goals and 3 assists in 11 games this season.

Buffalo used that 2021 second-round pick to select Aleksandr Kisakov 53rd overall. He appeared in four games with Moscow Dynamo of the KHL last season and recorded zero points. In nine games with the Rochester Americans of the AHL this season, he has recorded two goals and one assist.
