It's trade deadline day and all eyes are on Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney as fans are hoping he adds another forward.
Sweeney added Charlie Coyle last week but he'll likely fill a third line center role and not necessarily a top six forward.
So far Sweeney has struck out on a couple of guys they were attached too but it sounds like the Bruins are still making a serious push for Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone.
According to Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic, the Bruins are among three other teams making a serious push for Stone.
LeBrun reveals the Bruins, Winnipeg Jets, Calgary Flames and Nashville Predators as the teams pushing the hardest with the New York Islanders and Vegas Golden Knights also showing interest.
Stone would be a huge addition for the Bruins, the 26 year old plays a solid two way game and already has 28 goals in 59 games so far this season.
