Player agent calls out Gary Bettman again
Player agent Allan Walsh has had his fair share of �'kind words'' for Commissioner Gary Bettman.
He also hasn't held back when he's felt that one of his clients has been mistreated. Most notably, when he shared the Marc-Andre Fleury picture with a sword in his back after the Golden Knights chose Robin Lehner as the number-one in Vegas.
More recently, he's called out Bettman for the lack of marketing for the league, and he's back at it again:
''The takeaway from this- MLS is coming for the NHL and with a World Cup scheduled to be played in the U.S. in 2026, just a matter of time before it surpasses the NHL to claim the #4 spot in the U.S. But yeah, Gary's done a great job growing the game.�'
Walsh rightfully criticizes the league's inability of long-term planning, as the MLS has scheduled a World Cup for 2026 in the U.S., which will eventually eclipse the NHL's small gains.
