Player handed multi-game suspension for dangerous high-stick

The Department of Player Safety has handed out a multi-game suspension for a dangerous high stick on Sunday night.

Tomas Hertl had a hearing early Monday for a stick swing to the face of Elias Lindholm. Now, the DoPS has announced the punishment for Hertl:

San Jose's Tomas Hertl has been suspended for two games for High-sticking Calgary's Elias Lindholm

The play happened during Sunday's late game between the Calgary Flames and San Jose Sharks. Hertl was given a two-minute minor for high sticking penalty by the on ice officials.
