The Commissioner of the NHL, Gary Bettman, is making it more and more obvious that he will do anything to keep the Coyotes in Arizona.

Tuesday night, Bettman was in Tempe to speak to its City Council about the potential new home for the Coyotes, and as per TSN's Chris Johnston, the Commissioner dropped a major bomb involving the team's future.

''At the Tempe City Council meeting where a vote is expected on the Arizona Coyotes new arena/entertainment district tonight, Gary Bettman says the team is willing to sign a 30-year non-relocation agreement. ''

''He also says the league will bring a draft or all-star game to Tempe.''

A 30-year agreement with a team that has had trouble staying afloat in said area, seems a little risky. However, it's been said that Tempe will be a much better location for an NHL team, and brand-new state-of-the-art arena will help.
