The Jakob Chychrun rumors have been swirling since the NHL Trade Deadline this past season.
The Boston Bruins (and several other teams) have been linked to the Arizona Coyotes' star defenseman since the beginning. The Bruins were heavily interested at the deadline but opted to acquire Hampus Lindholm from the Anaheim Ducks.
Even though things have fizzled on the Chychrun front, it appears they're heating up again. Craig Morgan of The NHL Network reported:
''Jakob Chychrun admits he took the Coyotes up on an offer of trying to be traded so he could play for a team that could compete for a playoff spot, rather than endure the rebuild. That obviously did not happen but that is still his wish.''
David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period also confirmed the reports, stating that the Bruins, Ottawa Senators, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Toronto Maple Leafs and Philadelphia Flyers are the teams linked to Chyrchrun.
