The Boston Bruins are one team that hasn't announced any PTO signings, and it's probably due to the lack of cap space. However, earlier this week, general manager Don Sweeney discussed his situation:

''We've got a final decision to make. I don't know right now. There's one that's pending. We've talked to several guys, and some have made choices to go elsewhere based on opportunity.''

'Right now, [no invites]. But there's one that's hanging out there.''

And now, Ty Anderson of 98.5 The Sports Hub has reported just who that PTO option may be:

As per Anderson:

''Sweeney did not name the player, but noted that the offer was still standing, and that they were ready to bring him into the group should he choose to accept the offer.''

''That player is defenseman Anton Stralman, a source told 98.5 The Sports Hub.''

Anton Stralman, 36, has appeared in 930 career games with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers and Arizona Coyotes.

Originally selected in the seventh round (216th overall) by the Maple Leafs, the Swede has 63 goals and 230 assists, along with 26 points in 113 career postseason games.
