It's reported that Don Sweeney and the Bruins are looking for a third pairing left handed defenseman from now until the Trade Deadline.
And according to TSN's Chris Johnston, Joel Edmundson of the Montreal Canadiens could be the perfect target for Boston:
''He's the type of player that fits the Bruins style of play and is a proven playoff warrior.''
'What's also attractive to Boston is that Edmundson has a $3.5 million salary impact with another year on his contract, which would make him a valuable trade and not just a rental.''
Edmundson is a cheap, solid defenseman that could help any team, but where does he fit with Matthew Grzelcyk, Hampus Lindholm and Derek Forbort on the left side?
Maybe as a seventh defenseman in case of injury?
