Sportsnet reporter Shawn McKenzie was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing after allegedly arguing about being kicked out of a Nashville bar on Saturday, according to ScoopNashville.com.

Shawn is the son of well-known NHL insider and prospect specialist Bob McKenzie.

The report said McKenzie insisted that since he had paid for a table, he wasn't leaving and "was arguing with staff outside of Jason Aldean's Kitchen and Rooftop Bar in the early hours of Saturday morning after staff removed him from the venue for acting rudely.' "

Here is part of the report from ScoopNashville.com:

"Officers arrived and found him to be extremely intoxicated and verbally argumentative ... He was advised he was no longer welcome and needed to leave the location on his own. He continued to argue with officers, but eventually left of his own accord."

"Several minutes later, McKenzie returned to the bar and began to argue with staff once again, at which time he was handcuffed and taken into custody, charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass."

McKenzie mad his $200 bail and will have to appear in court on July 1st.
