According to recent rumours, Bo Horvat rejected the Vancouver Canucks final contract extension offer of eight years, $64 million.
Apparently, Vancouver's first offer was the same as Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and the Oilers' recent extension of eight-years at $5.125 million per season. The Canucks captain is a pending free agent, and Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff shared there's at least one team in the NHL that is willing to give him much more than that.
Horvat is currently tied for fourth in the league for goals with 21, along with nine assists on the season. The 2013 9th overall pick has recorded 191 goals and 205 assists in 601 career games with the Canucks.
