As per NHL insider Jeff Marek, former Boston Bruin forward Marc Savard is reported to be meeting with a couple of NHL teams.
He was the head coach of the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL, who were eliminated in game seven of the Final at the hands of the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Savard led the Spitfires to a 44-17-7 record for a first-place finish in the Western Conference and second overall in the entire OHL. His team also went 15-9 in the postseason, making it all the way to game seven of the Final.
As of now, it is unclear which teams are giving Savard an interview, but one team he has been linked to is the Dallas Stars. The Stars 2021 first-round pick, Wyatt Johnson, was the Spitfires leading scorer with 46 goals and 78 assists in 68 games under Savard this season.
