It's more and more likely that Patrick Kane will be leaving the Blackhawks between now and the Trade Deadline. The only question is when.
The veteran holds all the power with his No Movement Claus and was verbally upset when the New York Rangers acquired Vladimir Tarasenko. As both wingers fill the same top-six hole in the lineup.
However, according Stefan Rosner of New York Hockey Now, it appears the Rangers are the only New York team that Kane was willing to be moved to. As per Rosner:
'Per a league source, Kane has «no interest» in joining the Islanders, and that makes sense.''
'The Islanders, albeit not out of the playoff picture, are a long shot to make the postseason, especially given their recent play.''
The Maple Leafs, Oilers, Stars and Golden Knights remain interested in acquiring Kane's services.
