Jakob Chychrun of the Arizona Coyotes has been at the forefront of trade rumours since last season's trade deadline, and the Boston Bruins were heavily interested then.

This summer, the star defenseman made it clear that he wanted to be traded, and it appears as though the Coyotes are willing to grant his wish. As expected, several teams are linked to Chychrun, and reportedly the Bruins are still one of them.

Chychrun made his much-anticipated return from injury Monday night against the Nashville Predators and registered two shots, four hits and two blocks in 23:04 of ice time.

According to Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now, for the Bruins to acquire Chychrun, it could cost them at least two NHL regulars, defensemen Brandon Carlo and Matthew Grzelcyk.

As per Murphy:

''I think depending on their health in the coming weeks or months, Grzelcyk or Carlo could be in play for a guy like Chychrun,'' one NHL executive told Boston Hockey Now Tuesday. ''Can you imagine a left side with say they don't trade Grzelcyk Lindholm, Chychrun and him down the left?''

Murphy explained that the Bruins would be more interested in a right-handed defenseman like John Klingberg from the Anaheim Ducks.
