The Battle of Alberta has once again become one of the largest rivalries in the NHL, especially with both teams being close to the top of the league standings.
The Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames met in the second round of the playoff last season, and it was a must-watch series. Safe to say that it also made the hatred between the two teams even bigger.
Clearly, no love was lost since then, as the two met during preseason action the other night.
The rough stuff started after a big hit from Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse on Flames forward Dillon Dube:
