Most recent reports have had the Boston Bruins as owning the worst prospect pool out of all 32 NHL teams.
The team has been a steady contender for quite a while now, and giving up draft picks is a must to stay in that window.
Since Don Sweeney took over as general manager, there's not a lot of draft picks to be excited about (i.e. The 2015 first round).
However, as Bruins Network on Twitter shared, the Bruins may have found a gem in the 2022 Draft:
Defenseman Frederic Brunet was drafted in the fifth round (132nd overall) by the Bruins from the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL.
The 18-year-old has registered 6 goals and 29 assists in 36 games this season, after 12 goals and 34 assists in 63 games last year.
