The NHL cancels four different games, negatively impacting six different teams
The NHL has made a brash move today, as they have canceled four games and re-scheduled them today.
The move happened while the NHL is prepping up for tonight's big night, as there will be 16 games, and 32 teams playing tonight for the "Frozen Frenzy".
The four games, which take place between November and January during the season, will see a time change.
But there's been no reason or motivation given to fans, and the teams involved for the moves.
The changes that have taken place have given the teams plenty of time fortunately to plan their schedules in advance. But the point stands, there's been no real reason given to re-schedule these.
Take note, the Match between the Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets could stand to be a view into the NHL playoffs in the future.
Game #230, Dallas Stars at Winnipeg Jets, scheduled for Nov. 9, will now begin at 2 p.m. CT.
Game #619, Nashville Predators at Vancouver Canucks, scheduled for Jan. 3, will now begin at 7 p.m. PT.
Game #621, Detroit Red Wings at Winnipeg Jets, scheduled for Jan. 4, will now begin at 6 p.m. CT.
Game #627, Nashville Predators at Calgary Flames, scheduled for Jan. 4, will now begin at 8 p.m. MT
The NHL added another new team to the league, which could prove to be a successful year if Utah provides more value to the league, rather than Arizona.
The 2024-2025 season has been chaotic, and full of storylines none of us have anticipated with one of them being the Boston Bruins 4th line being the most productive so far.
One thing to note about these changes in the game time is the fact that they're all taking place in Canada.
There's been no reason provided to Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Calgary why there's been a change. However, these should prove to be exciting matchups all the while.
