The NHL Network has released their annual top 20 centremen ranking ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The top three are no surprise, with Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers, Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche. Even Sidney Crosby and Leon Draisaitl rounding out the top five make sense too.
However, after that, there are definitely some questionable choices in the rest of the top 20.
Will anybody be able to take over McDavid's number one spot while he's still in the NHL?
