Taylor Hall was acquired by the Boston Bruins on April 11th, 2021, along with Curtis Lazar and 50% retained in exchange for Anders Bjork and a 2021 second-round pick. With the pick the Sabres drafted left winger Aleksandr Kisakov from Russia.
The Bruins were heavily interested and linked to Hall well before the trade happened, and of course, many insiders and fans shared their mock trades between the two teams.
Ryan Dixon of Sportsnet had maybe the most interesting one. Check out his mock trade below:
He had the Bruins trading Jake DeBrusk and their 2022 first-round pick to acquire Hall, instead, they got him for a lot less and used that pick to acquire Hampus Lindholm too.
