Nothing beats playing in the NHL with a childhood friend.

And that's about to be the case for two Boston Bruins players, thanks to one move the general manager Don Sweeney has made this offseason.

Pavel Zacha was acquired from the New Jersey Devils on July 13th in exchange for Erik Haula.

Zacha and Bruins defenseman Jakub Zboril, both of whom were selected in the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft, hail from Brno, Czechia.

Zacha spoke to the media about being reunited with his childhood friend:

''I basically grew up with [Zboril] ... I've known him since I was four years old, and we were like best friends growing up.

We played together until we were 13 and then spent [time] on national teams together and stuff. He texted me right away.

It's just funny how it played out for us that after 15 years, we're back to playing together.''

Oh, and the two dressed for Halloween together this year as Dwight Schrutte and Angela White from the hit comedy series, 'The Office.''
