Clearly, some players are better shooters than others
And with no further context but the picture below, you could argue that Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs is a low-quality shooter.
He is, in fact, arguably the most talented shooter in the NHL, but he does shoot the puck a lot.
Along with the Leafs' superstar are a couple of Boston Bruins players that rank in the top five. David Pastrnak, whom you could put in the same category as Matthews because he scores a lot of goals too, and Craig Smith, who is a third liner that has collected 47 goals in the past three seasons.
