The 2022 NHL Entry Draft at Bell Centre in Montreal is a lot to live up to for the next host, as it was one of the most entertaining in recent years.
The biggest reason was that it was finally back to face-to-face after a couple of years of online drafts.
So who will be the next host?
ESPN's Greg Wyshynski has reported that the 2023 draft is all but set to be held in the United States:
"NEWS: Nashville remains the favorite to host the 2023 NHL Draft, but hotel availability is proving to be a real challenge. Obviously a preferred destination for teams, but not a done deal."
