USA Hockey announces 2023 World Junior Championship schedule

USA Hockey announced its schedule for the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championships. The tournament will be hosted in Halifax and Moncton, Canada, and held from December 26th, 2022, until January 5th, 2023.
Team USA will compete in Group B along with Finland, Latvia, Slovakia and Switzerland during the preliminary round. Group A will consist of Austria, Canada, Czechia, Germany and Sweden.
All U.S. games in the preliminary round will take place at 4 pm EST, with an opening matchup against Team Latvia on December 26th. Following that will be games against Slovakia on December 28th, Switzerland on December 29th and Finland on December 31st.
The top four teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinal round, which is set for January 2nd, and the winners will advance to the semifinals on January 4th at 2:30 pm EST and 6:30 pm EST.
The medal round will take place on January 5th, with the bronze-medal game at 2:30 pm EST and the gold-medal game at 6:30 pm EST.
Broadcast information for fans in the United States will be announced at a later date.
