Brad Marchand comments on Bruins recent losing streak
After Friday mornings practise, the Bruins' top point-getter, Brad Marchand, spoke to the media on the team's recent three-game losing streak.
Marchand commented on the Bruins' struggling powerplay:
"Obviously, our powerplay hasn't come through the way that it has in the past ... and we're right there in the game... that gets frustrating, but that's hockey"
He also discussed the fact of the team's inability to win recently:
"We can't control what's happened, we can only control what we can, which is how we prepare for tomorrow, and that's all we can focus on"
After a 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night, the Bruins are in the midst of a three-game losing streak, all in regulation, which is the club's longest skid in over two years.
Boston is safely in a playoff position, but finding momentum soon will be critical if they want to have postseason success. The Bruins host Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins in their next matchup Saturday afternoon.
