Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy has found the perfect balance in his top-2 lines since March 21st. The Bruins were said to be looking to acquire a number two centreman at the deadline, but when they didn't, Cassidy put Erik Haula there, and he has flourished.
Along with moving Haula up to the second line, he moved David Pastrnak down to it and, in turn, promoted Jake DeBrusk to the first line with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron.
In 18 games since then, DeBrusk has 9 goals and 5 assists and is +10. As for his linemates, Bergeron has 5 goals and 11 assists and is +9, while Marchand has 7 goals and 11 assists and is +9 as well. The line has combined for 48 points in those 18 games and a plus/minus of +28.
