The Boston Bruins have been without some regulars due to injuries, such as David Pastrnak (7 games), Hampus Lindholm (6 games), and Linus Ullmark (2 games).

Boston has already clinched their postseason berth, but who their opponent will be is still up in the air, as many outcomes are still possible. Getting players back right now is not crucial, but it may be beneficial to have them play before the playoffs to shake off some of the rust they may have.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy addressed the media about the current players who missed the road trip and stayed in Boston because of injuries.

He gave his updates on Ullmark first:

"I believe Ullmark will definitely play this weekend if he has no setbacks today or tomorrow, so he's looking good, [and] he's the closest to getting back in. So that's good with the back-to-back."

He was asked about Pastrnak and Lindholm as well:

"They all skated today in Boston, so closer for the weekend. I haven't heard whether they'll be in or out ... We're still waiting on [them]; they're both skating full sessions with Kim back home, but whether they're cleared to play or not on Saturday is still up in the air."

Cassidy went on the discuss how his team might be fairly healthy for the first time in a while heading into playoffs. He also recalled how easy it is to lose players during a playoff round, but the team is a little deeper at the defence position this season.
