The Montreal Canadiens were on the road to face the Detroit Red Wings last night, and their goaltender Jake Allen was very busy in the first period. The Red Wings fired 25 shots Allen's way, and he managed to stop all of them.
However, his best save came in the second period when Red Wings forward Andrew Copp appeared to have a wide-open net. Somehow, Allen made one of the best stick saves you'll ever see when a goal seemed very probable.
Check it out:
Allen did his best to keep his team in the game, stopping 37 of 38 shots he faced, but the Red Wings came away with a 3-0 victory (two empty-netters).
