The Boston Bruins will be without their top right-winger, David Pastrnak, for the seventh straight game when they visit the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy has tried multiple options in his spot with Taylor Hall and Erik Haula, and tonight it will be Curtis Lazar. Lazar is on pace for a career-best season with eight goals and eight assists, for the guy who's a regular depth player.
Cassidy discussed what he expects from Lazar tonight:
"Well, he's moved up, but again he should play his same game, get to the net, hopefully, contribute, and off the rush by getting pucks off the wall; he's usually been typically good at that."
Cassidy also commented on the recent play of goaltender Jeremy Swayman and what he and the coaching staff should expect from the St. Louis Blues, a team they played as recently as one week ago.
