It hasn't taken Fabian Lysell very long to get used to hockey at a professional level, as the 19-year-old has looked right at home with Providence Bruins through two games.
Lysell scored his first pro goal and was named the first star of the game on Friday night against the Bridgeport Tigers and followed that up with a dominant performance Sunday afternoon against the Springfield Thunderbirds.
He got on the board early when Georgi Merkulov tapped in his rebound to put the Bruins up 1-0:
Then, in the second period, with the score tied 2-2, Lysell set up recent free agent signing, Vinni Lettieri, with a perfect cross-seam one-timer:
The young Swede wasn't done there, though, as he recorded his third primary assist on Luke Toporowski's first AHL goal to give Providence the lead once again:
The Boston Bruins' number-one prospect now leads Providence in points through two games, with 1 goal and 3 assists. If he keeps this up, it will be hard for management not to give him a look in the NHL.
