Yanni Gourde of the Seattle Kraken had a moment on Monday that he'd rather soon forget.
If getting shutout 4-0 to the bottom-feeding San Jose Sharks (without Timo Meier and Tomas Hertl) was embarrassing enough. Gourde also scored one of the worst 'own goals'' to open the scoring.
Gourde wins a defensive zone faceoff a little too cleanly, and puts the puck right passed an unsuspecting Martin Jones in net:
Clearly, Jones didn't see the puck through sticks and skates but that's one that should never go in. Tough look!
