VIDEO: The NHL's new digital board ads are off to a horrible start

The NHL introduced a brand new sponsorship/advertising project for the 2022-23 season called Digitally Enhanced Dashboards, or DED for short. Of course, the concept came with its skepticism from fans, and we can see why within the first few days of the season.
During the Edmonton Oilers' home opener against the Vancouver Canucks, the board graphics weren't only somewhat distracting, but they actually blocked the play.
